Obituary of Edith Anne Happy

Born to Clyde and Elsie Dorman on August 23rd, 1940, in the town of Deer River.  Passed away on June 1st, 2022. She married Cecil Happy June 17th, 1956.  Spending 43 years together before he passed.  Having four children; sons Paul, Steve (Joy), and Robert, and a daughter Linda. They worked hard to build a future,  and a strong family. Edith worked as a CNA for St. Louis County for approximately twenty years.  She was always there with her baked goods, and other famous recipes,  hosting parties and drawing in her loved ones from all around. She loved cooking, gardening, traveling, fishing and spending time at her cabin, and most of all babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at a moment’s notice.  She is preceded in death by her brothers Larry, Raymond, and Dave,  her sister Rose, her husband Cecil, and her friend Clarence. She is survived by her sister Dorothy, her four children,  seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Special thanks to everyone who spent some time with her in the last few months. She will be greatly missed by her family, and her four cats. Memorial service will be held at  The Vineyard Church.  June 16th, 2022. Visitation at 10:30, service at 11.
