Obituary of John Ronald Forliti

John Ronald Forliti- Age 85, went peacefully to be with Our Lord on June 11, 2022. He will be welcomed into heaven by his wife Judy, son Michael, daughter Erin, and brother Tom. John was a dedicated husband and father, a U.S. Navy veteran, an avid outdoorsman, a great storyteller, and a follower of Christ. John was the consummate provider during his career as a sheet metal worker, and often worked long overtime hours to support his family. He loved walleye fishing, fishing stories, reminiscing about the past, early rock and roll, dancing, video poker and slot machines, and spectating his favorite sports teams. John’s warmth, wit, and humor always brought friends and family together, and brought a lot of happiness to those around him. John is survived by his son David (Glorie), grandchildren Nicholas and Vincent, sister Jean McGough (Tom) and many extended family members. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff at St. Anthony Park Home for the loving care they have provided over the past 17 months. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 17th at Maternity of Mary Church, 1414 Dale St. N., St. Paul, MN 55117. 11:00 am mass with visitation 1 hour prior (10:00 am). Memorials preferred to the National Veterans Foundation.
