Obituary of Edwin Vern Priem Sr.
Dad loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to play cribbage, dominos and winning with “loving spite.” He loved to work in the flower garden while he lived in Texas. Dad had an extraordinary passion for baseball. He played the game very well, he loved to watch his sons and grandchildren play the game but he especially liked to tell the Twins (aka the TV) how they should be playing the game. While raising his family Dad worked two jobs. His passion was dealing cattle and enjoying the relationships that were created during those years.
Edwin is survived by beloved Leona Haakas and her family, Sisters Paula, Delma & Kathy Priem, Children Dixie Hazuka (Gerrell), Cindy Ellis, Edwin Jr. (Roiann), Tim (Jean), Terry (Barb), Scott (Sue), Robyn Priem, Dawn Karban (Scott), Mark (Esther Lydia), Jeff (Renee) and numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nephews and Nieces.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Julius and Ruth Priem, Wife Margaret, Brothers Mel, Orv, Reynold and Bruce. Sisters Vivian and Erma and several unborn Grandchildren.
