Obituary of Erick Jerome Kimball

On March 28, our strong, amazing, beloved son decided the pain of this world was too much. We miss him every day and are thankful for the thirty years we had.

He loved hunting up north and fishing the north shore. Many mornings were spent in a stand or watching the sunrise while casting from shore. Welding made him happy, and he looked for any opportunity to melt some metal. He was always ready to help and a calm presence in an emergency.

Carrying his memory are his parents Chuck and Mary Kimball, his sisters: Katy Lorsbach (Cole), Kelsey (Ryan) and Emma. Grandparents Vern and Pat Eilola, the love of his life Kenzie DeLalley and his chosen family: Craig, Sarah, Gio and Jordan.

A celebration of Erick’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at the Moosehead Room at Spirit Mountain. visitation from 3 to 4. Celebration of Life at 4, then a buffet of some of Erick’s favorite foods. In keeping with Erick’s spirit, please consider some camo, blaze orange or Minnesota Wild clothing.
