Obituary of Carmen Rose Lamminen

Carmen Rose Lamminen (Knickerbocker) was born March 02,1943 in Cloquet, MN. She passed away on May 03,2022 at the age of 79.

She married Paul (Mike) Lamminen in 1961. They had 3 boys; Mike, Chris, and Robbin while living in Cloquet and then moved to St. Paul, MN where they had a girl, Steph, and another boy, Jason.

Carmen was a strong-willed person who never gave up. She enjoyed throwing darts and betting on the horses with Mike, gardening, reading (she sure had a lot of books!), baking treats for others, and shopping for bargains. Her tenacity, love, and wisdom will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday 06/05/22 at The Cremation Society of MN, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

In Carmen’s honor, wear purple.
