Obituary of Patricia Jane Nelson
Patricia Jane (Anfenson) Nelson
Nelson, Patricia, Jane (Anfenson) was born on December 7, 1933 in Minneapolis and lived on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota and graduated from Mound HS. She married in 1955 and moved into a home in Long Lake, MN and raised a family. She later moved to Grand Marais, MN and Harlingen, TX.
Pat passed away suddenly May 15, 2022 at her home in Maple Grove, MN from complications of Alzheimer’s.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband Richard C. Nelson.
She is survived by sons, Doug (Jill) Nelson and Tom (Patty) Nelson and grandchildren Nicholas (Kathy) Nelson, Sara Nelson, Wendy (Jason) Blank, Jessica (Jake) Moritz, Kari (Dave) Berube and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or a donation to a charity, her family encourages you to make lasting and special memories with those you love today and every day. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date this summer. A private burial will take place in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
