Obituary of Jean E. Sherman

Jean E. Sherman of Blaine, MN went home to heaven at the age of 79, on May 13th, 2022. Jean was born on August 26th, 1942, in Tyler, MN.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Jean enjoyed spending time with family, especially doting on grandchildren and great-grandchildren, weekend shopping trips with her girls, and trips to the casino. Jean had a lifelong career working at HCMC in the ER admissions department. Jean is preceded in death by husband Dennis; parents Paul Kelley and Viola (Zimmer) Kelley; two sisters; four brothers; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; three nieces; and one nephew.

Jean is survived by: three daughters Gretchen (Scott) Kappes of Circle pines, Megan (Jeremy) Trevino of Blaine, Jill (Caleb) Sherman of Blaine; four grandchildren Nicholas, Stephanie, Jeremy and Emilio; three great-grandchildren Lucas, Noah and Brody (coming soon); three sisters Audrey Odland of St. Peter, Colleen Kelley of Bloomington, and Mary (Donald) Balster of Chaska; one brother Greg Kelley of Richfield; three sisters-in-law, Cathy Kelley of Prior Lake, Cleo Kelley of Pine Island and Karen Kelley of Tyler; two brothers-in-law, Gary Sherman of Minneapolis and Richard Sherman of Minneapolis; fifteen nieces and sixteen nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph of The Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St. Lino Lakes, MN 55014 on Tuesday May 24th, 2022, at 10:30am with Father Michael Anderson officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service. Cremation performed by Cremation Society of Minnesota. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
