I was saddened to here the bad news. I am a co-worker from many many years ago when he lived in Breckenridge.
We worked together building Dynamic Homes for Mark Lorenz. I always remember Knut as a kind soul who worked very hard.
On one particular occasion Knut asked for my help moving a single stall garage that someone gave him from Wahpeton to his place in Breckenridge. I drove my old Dodge pickup inside the garage and we jacked it up on the back. Then drove it down the street to his house in Breckenridge. How we made it I'm not sure as I couldn't see anything except to straight ahead and he drove his vehicle in front to give me directions. Wouldn't want to try that now days. Anyway I just wanted to share a memory that always made me smile.
I kind of lost track of Knut after we all moved on in life but will always remember the fun we had together in those early years. My deepest sympathies to the family.
