Obituary of Thomas E Miller
Thomas Earl Miller, 79, Duluth, Mn passed away unexpectedly April 29, 2022, at home. He was born September 12, 1942 in Duluth, Mn to Earl and Evelyn Miller.
He graduated from Central High School in 1960 and served in the US Army. He then attended UMD, studying law for as many years as he could to try and keep himself out of trouble! He worked at many diverse jobs throughout his years.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman. He chartered and loved fishing out on the “Big Lake”. He loved hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, listening to and singing old country music, and keeping everyone in the woods entertained on the CB. He loved spending countless weekends up at his cabin with his love of 36 years Debbie and their dogs. They always kept busy doing projects and visiting with friends up in the woods.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Donald and his grandson Henry. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36yrs Debbie, Daughter Kate (Mike) Maher, Michelle (Steve) Swoboda, Yvonne (Adam) McCauley, all of Duluth and Joseph (Hannah) French of Utah. Grandchildren Thomas, Desiree, Emma, Helena, Hayden and Owen. Sister’s Marney Anderson and Kim (Kirk) Fellbaum and many nieces and nephews, and a special devotion and bond with his nephew “Snow-Mo-Billy.”
Per Tom’s wishes there will be a “Big Party” at a later date.
