Obituary of Kenneth Nebel

Age 79, of Duluth, MN died April 7, 2022. An only child Ken and his mom, Gertrude lived with his grandparents in Dover, NJ while his dad, Fritz served in WWII. In 1945 they moved to Bloomfield, NJ. Ken earned a degree in  Forestry at Yale. Several moves brought him to his adopted hometown Duluth, MN in 1972.  Ken was active in Boy Scouts of America serving on the council and as Cub Master. He was active with Duluth Chamber of Commerce, Sailboat  Racing, Historical Society, Duluth Huskies and more. Ken married the love of his life, Nancy (LeMay) Nebel in 1984. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by Junemarie “Bobbin” Mock (Peter), Gary “Guy” Dickenson (Nancy). He was a proud Papa to Nicole Frueh (Shawn), Amanda Prema (Moses), Brian Dickenson (June), David Leppke, John Leppke and great-grandson Jamie Frueh.  Funeral July 15, 2022 at 3pm, St John’s Free Lutheran, Duluth.  Interment July 16, 2022 at 11am, Park Hill Cemetery, Duluth.
