Obituary of Ardelle Marie Raycraft

Ardelle “Lulu” Marie Raycraft, passed away on Monday April 4, 2022, at the age of 87.

Ardelle was born June 26, 1934, to Randolph and Mildred Holmstrom. Ardelle was born in Two Harbors, MN and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1952 in Duluth, MN. Ardelle graduated with a Nursing degree from Glenwood Hills Hospital, School of Psychiatric Nursing degree in 1953. She married Terry Raycraft on June 30th, 1956.

Ardelle was very active at the Forbes United Methodist Church in Proctor, MN. She sang in the church choir, was active in the Library Committee and Ladies Circle, and participated in the pasties bake sale. She enjoyed playing the piano and the dulcimer, enjoyed traveling, and many outdoor activities. Ardelle and her husband Terry volunteered their services on a medical relief mission in Honduras in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Raycraft, parents Randolph and Mildred Holmstrom, parents in law Blair Raycraft and Alice Carlson, brother Loren Holmstrom and brothers in law Pat & Blair Jr. Raycraft.

Ardelle is survived by her children Kevin (Kathy) Raycraft, Tim (Sue) Raycraft, Mary (Dave) Nelson, Kathleen (Mike) De Baiso, grandson Aaron De Baiso and sisters in law Barb Holmstrom, Jan Raycraft, Shari Raycraft, brother-in-law Ritchie (Ann) Raycraft, and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation is from 10:00 AM with funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 21, at Forbes United Methodist Church located at 33 Grove St, Proctor, MN 55810

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
