Obituary of Rose Elaine Anderson

Rose Elaine Anderson passed away at Franciscan Health Center on April 10, 2022. Rose was born in Rice Lake, WI on October 31, 1940 to James and Bernice Boushie.  Rose moved to Duluth and attended Denfeld High School. She married Lyle Anderson on March 29, 1958. Rose cherished spending time with her family.  She was considered Mom to many of her children’s friends.  She enjoyed knitting hats and mittens for the Salvation Army.  She also knitted baby bonnets which she donated to local hospitals. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Corrine. She is survived her husband Lyle, brother Leroy (Idalia), daughters Debbie and Linda (Perry), son Michael (Michelle), grandchildren Erica (Monte), Tim (Angela), Tad, Kelly (Trevor) and Tyler, three great-grandsons and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota. Visitation will begin one hour prior with fellowship directly after the service.
