I was very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I really liked him, and enjoyed seeing him throughout the years at different family events.
I have one very fond memory of him taking my cousin Kenny & I camping when we were just boys. He drove us all the way from Minneapolis to Hoyt Lakes. We spent the night at Uncle Bud & Aunt Lorraine's home. The next day, we hiked what seemed like five miles on logging roads and across a fjord, to a log cabin that Uncle Bud and his boys built by hand. It seemed as primitive as if we were back in pioneer days. On our hike back out, Bob met us and helped bring all the gear back. The memory of that trip always pops in my head whenever I think of Randy. RIP cousin.
