I met Tina when I was very young over a short visit in the summer. I haven’t seen Tina in over 40 years but I have never ever forgotten her kindness. She was only a couple years older but never once made me feel like the pain in the butt tagalong I undoubtedly was. She showed me kindness when she didn’t have to.and what a sense of fun-. I was eight or ten that week when she taught me a ridiculous fried ham song that has made me smile and think of her and mark every single time in the 40+ years since then. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. I can only imagine the huge hole she leaves for all who knew her. My condolences to all whose lives are touched by her passing. I am so saddened at Tina's passing and send my deepest condolences to all who loved her, and particularly to her family. I feel fortunate to have known Tina as a colleague, albeit far too briefly. My deepest sympathy to Tina's family and friends. She was an amazing person who I was so lucky to have met at the U of MN. She was always so professional, yet light hearted and funny even when talking about FERPA. No one knew FERPA like Tina. She was also warm and genuine and I enjoyed seeing her at Mt. Olivet on Sundays as we passed each other coming & going to church. Always smiling and looking so happy. I will miss her.
