Obituary of Marianne J Bohnen
Marianne J. Bohnen passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on March 30, 2022, she was 91 years old.
Marianne was born Marianne Butler in 1930 in Racine, Wisconsin to parents Julia and Andrew Butler. She met Kenneth E. Bohnen and was married in 1950. As a wife to a Mason, she was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness.
Marianne worked at Groves-Kelco, Inc., Northern Telecom and Lifetouch Photography, alongside her close-knit group of friends. She always enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends, and during retirement, she enjoyed going to the local casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly fifty years, Kenneth E Bohnen who died in 1999, father Andrew Butler, mother Julia Butler, sisters Elaine A. McGulpin and Doris M. Olofson.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Bosley of Richfield, MN, son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Deanne Bohnen of Lakeville, MN, son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Michele Bohnen of Las Vegas, NV, nine grandchildren: Rick, Stacy, Melissa, Shawn, Cameron, Garret, Olivia, Adam and Daniel and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials preferred to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
A private celebration of life will be held at Washburn-McReavy Dawn Valley Memorial Park at a later date.
