Obituary of Web Webster

Alden “Web” Webster Age 82, of Osseo, MN, passed away on March 17th, 2022.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Karen; parents, Adrian and Irene Webster; siblings, Nancy, Marty, Carol, Roger, Gary.

Survived by son, Billie (Coreen) Webster; daughter, Shaune (Rob) Younkers; grandchildren, Seth, Leah, Emily, and Tara; sisters, Rogene, Jan, and Mary; and many relatives and dear friends.

Web loved to tell a good story, spend time with loved ones, watch and play sports, and live every day to the fullest.

Visitation to take place at Shepherd of the Grove Lutheran Church, 11875, Eagle Lake Drive, Maple Grove on his birthday, March 31st, from 4-8 PM. Celebration of Life to be at 11:00 AM, April 1st, at the church, with visitation starting an hour before and lunch following.

Web was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He believed that life was a gift, and lived it to the fullest extent. His faith was unyielding, and his spirit was mighty.

Web grew up in the small town of Cornell, WI, where he developed his love of sports and his strong faith. The Air Force brought him to Grand Forks, ND where he met the love of his life, Karen Hovde. They married 1962, settled down in the Twin Cities, and had two children–Billie and Shaune. Web was heavily involved in the community, his church, and visited his families in Wisconsin and Fertile as much as possible.

Web was a force of nature, working for 60+ years, and never retiring. He loved biking, fishing, hunting, and most of all, chatting and spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. His spirit is around us, his love sustains us, and his memory will always be with us. He left an impact on all of the people that he interacted with–it is hard to forget his character.

We will miss his stories, advice, jokes, and bellowing laughter. We know that he is safe and well in the hands of the Lord, reunited with his beloved wife, Karen, and other loved ones.
