Obituary of Thomas L. Collins

Thomas L. Collins, also known as T.C., age 77 of Rosemount, MN, passed away peacefully at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home on March 18, 2022, after battling dementia.

Thomas was born to Michael & Duane (Nyblom) Collins on July 25, 1944, in Jessenland Township, MN. He had five siblings. Joseph (Darlene) Collins, Mary Marvel “Sis” (Harold) Curtis, Richard “Dick” (Kitty Jo) Collins, Betty (Larry) Van Buskirk, Jean (Gene) Bakke.

He had two children, Jeffrey (Terri) Collins and Donna (Mori) Oestreich with his first wife Joanne “Josie” Beseke.

In 1976, he married Nancy Schuttemeier and had a daughter Michelle (Jeremy) Collins. They later divorced and continued to be companions.

After Thomas retired from Modelstone/Aggregate Industries in 2005, he enjoyed spending time with family and hanging out with his friends at Celts in Rosemount, MN.

He is survived by his daughters; Donna and Michelle, his grandchildren; Sophia, Hannah, Dylan, Alexis, Mikenzie, Mason, Cassandra, Dylan, and Evan; his siblings; Jean and Joe, his sister-in-law Kitty Jo, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; Sis, Dick and Betty, his son; Jeffrey and brothers-in-law Gene, Harold and Larry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 27th, 2022, from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at Celts.
