Obituary of Jamie Sailor

Jamie Ray Sailor, 51, of Duluth, MN, passed peacefully on February  21, 2022, at home surrounded by his loved ones, due to cancer. Jamie was born December 10, 1970, in Wells, MN. He graduated from Unity High School in 1990. He began his career in interstate trucking with Jeff Foster Trucking and became a proud Owner/ Operator of Jamie Sailor Trucking. He was an adventurous, bigger than life kind of man, a devoted loving family man, a great friend and loved making people laugh. Jamie will dearly be missed by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by grandparents-Melvin and Maxine Pregler, father-Carlyle Eckart, brother-Michael Sailor, stepson-Kurtis Olson.

He is survived by his fiancée, Ashley McArthur, sons, Jasper and Kyle Sailor, mother Carole Bruhjell, brother Todd Eckart (Christy), sister Jennifer Eckart along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at Essentia health for all their help.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on April 30, 2022, at the Eldorado Bar and Grill in Oliver, WI.
