Obituary of LEE ANN WEIR

WEIR LEEANN, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away February 16th, 2022. LeeAnn was born February 20th, 1954, to Byron and Nancy Kinkel at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School then on to Bemidji State College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She found her passion in the dental industry from small labs to the corporate world which carried her through over 30 years of cherished work and friendships until retirement 2 years ago. Preceeded in the death by Miranda Lynne (daughter), Byron and Nancy Kinkel (parents), Elaine Howard (aunt), and Jennifer Lindquist (niece). Survived by her husband Steve, daughters Christie Weir and Cassie Mubarak (Ade), grandchildren Emmitt Weir, Nadiya and Aurora Mubarak, sister Lynne Lindquist (Dick), brother Daniel Kinkel (Beth), nephews Eric Lindquist (Dana), and Bryan Kinkel (Cristi), nieces Mindy Howard (Ted), Lauri Pickett (Sam), Noelle, and Annika Weir. In-Laws John and Phyllis Weir, whom she loved most dearly, Kyle Weir (Jane), and Layne Weir (Chris). LeeAnn always put in immeasurable love and effort in her children, taking them to gymnastics competitions, swimming and diving meets, and caring for their everyday needs and issues. LeeAnn is loved and missed dearly by all of us. A gathering for family and friends will be held for LeeAnn on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, at Cremation Society of Mn, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd. Brooklyn Park, Mn 55428 from 4-7pm.
