Obituary of Steven R. Sticha

Steven R. Sticha, age 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood. He was born July 22, 1967 in St. Paul, to Richard and Veronica (Hoff) Sticha. He was a 1985 graduate of Park Senior High School in Cottage Grove. He worked construction in varying positions over the years and really enjoyed spending time in his garage working on projects. Steve truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with family, hunting, and fishing. Steve loved to play card games and had a playful competitive spirit. He is survived by wife, Kathy (LeMay) Sticha; parents Richard and Veronica (Hoff) Sticha; sister Sue (Sticha) Manning and her husband Mike, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.Family, friends, and others whose lives Steve touched are invited to the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul on Saturday, March 12, 2022, to reminisce, grieve, support one another and to celebrate Steve’s life. Visitation from 11-12pm; Memorial Service from 12-12:30PM; lunch following the service.
