Obituary of Priscilla Lundell

Priscilla Lundell, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2022 at the age of 81 yrs. Priscilla was born, July 23, 1940 in Chariton, Iowa. Preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Lindholm, sisters, Muriel Lindahl (Darrel), Faith Lindahl (Don), Gwen Nelson (Roger) and brother, Raymond Lindholm (Karen). Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, LaMar, sons, Matthew and David (Jeanne) and grandchildren, Bronwyn and Samuel. Also survived by, brother, Wesley Lindholm and sister, Faris Hallblade.

Priscilla attended Stranburg High School in Stranburg, South Dakota and attended North Park College while working in Chicago. She lived with her parents in Kansas after graduation from high school, moved to Chicago and then on to St. Louis Park, Mn., where she worked for the St. Louis Park Medical Center as a receptionist scheduling doctor’s appointments. In 1964, she met the man of her dreams, marrying LaMar Lundell on October 10, 1964. They moved to their new home in Brooklyn Park, Mn. LaMar was transferred to Cloquet, Mn. and then was transferred back to the Twin City area, where they lived in Richfield from 1972 until present. During these years, Priscilla worked at Augsburg Publishing House as a secretary to the editor and then worked at Campbell Mithun for a short time. Priscilla had a passion for assisting the elderly and spent time helping with meals, driving to shopping, etc. Priscilla also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She had a special recipe for bread buns, making them for open houses and receptions. Her real specialty was lasagna which was enjoyed by many over the years. Priscilla loved reading and collected many books that she enjoyed reading and passing on to others. She liked sports, especially watching golf on tv. Priscilla was an excellent bowler and enjoyed bowling on church leagues. Priscilla was a longtime member of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN.

A memorial service will be held at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wooddale Church (missions) 6630 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie, Mn. 55344.
