Born 4/24/1929 in Deer River, MN and died 2/13/2022 as a resident of Richfield, MN.

Chuck was “going on 93.” A man of resiliency, graciousness, wisdom, and patience, Chuck loved his family, everything outdoors, and believed in taking life one day at a time.

Preceded in death by beloved wife Jean in 2020; parents Steven and Lena Oleheiser; sisters Stella, Helen, Elsie, and sister-in-law Nancy; brothers Paul, Robert, and brothers-in-law Malcom, John, and Dennis; infant son Charles; stepsons Don and Tim; and two granddaughters.

Survived by sisters Dorothy Halvorson and Leona Thompson, daughter Barbara (Robert) Spiller, son Steven (Tami) Oleheiser, daughter Cheryl Oleheiser, stepson Tom Albert (Marte Baro), and stepdaughter Beth (Edward) Picard. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews, grand and great grandchildren.

Private interment for Chuck and Jean at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Second Harvest North Central Food Bank PO Box 5130, Grand Rapids, MN 55744 or to your favorite charity.
