Obituary of Shirley Ann Master

     Shirley Anne Master of Elk River, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, with her

family by her side.  Anne was born in 1930 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to her parents the late

William and Elva Sullivan.

      In 1953,  Anne met the love of her life, James (Jim) Master while working for Peavey Grain Company

in Minneapolis, MN. They married on July 24, 1954 in Winnepeg Manitoba, Canada. Anne and Jim went on to have four children, James (Jim), Catherine (Cathy), Patricia (Patsy) and John. Anne was very proud of

her family,  and leaves behind nothing, but beautiful memories. She was a wonderful gardener and loved all of her beautiful flowers. Anne always looked forward to spending time at their cottage on Star Lake, and spent most summers there after Jim retired.

      Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, daughter Catherine, daughter in-law Terri

and her five brothers and two sisters. Anne is survived by her children Jim (Fawn) Master of Zimmerman, MN, Patsy (Denny) Knutson of Park Rapids, MN, John Master of Foley, AL, and son in-law Mark Nichols

of Lake City, MN. She I also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

      The family is planning a Catholic funeral mass and inurnment at a later time.
