Obituary of Darlene D. Davies

Darlene D. Davies: Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt, passed away peacefully on Monday, 24 January, at age 84. A graduate of Edinboro Teachers College (Edinboro, PA), Darlene taught Kindergarten for nearly 10 years and was a reserve teacher with Mounds View Public Schools for over 25 years. She was an active member of Presbyterian Church of the Way (Shoreview, MN), and will be fondly remembered for her choir solos and leading the children’s choirs. For years Darlene entered many of her crafts in the MN State Fair and was very proud of the multiple ribbons she earned. She is proceeded in death by her husband, John (June 2014), and oldest son, Charles (September 2014), and survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Davies-Larson, Kenn), and youngest son, Gregory (Kristine), and grandchildren, Justin and Meaghan Davies, Ruby and Tess Davies-Larson. She will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, 12 February 2022, 11:00 am at Presbyterian Church of the Way, Shoreview, MN. The church will provide a live stream of the service on their YouTube channel.
