Barry sent me cards twice in my life. It was for both times I got married. They were illustrated by Barry as well and I was struck both times by how kind he was to take the time to create cards for me. The last time I saw him is when I went to visit his mom ( Jean Wendling)in the rehab center she was at prior to her death. He was so composed and peaceful every time he visited her , I remember thinking what a good son he was. I was happy to have known Barry. As I know many others were as well.
