Obituary of Colleen Patricia Tripp

Colleen Patricia Tripp, 64, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jacques. Colleen is survived by her father, Paul Jacques, brothers Paul (Marcia) and Christopher Jacques, children Brian (Katy) Tripp and Laura (Matthew) Egan, grandchildren Nolan Tripp and Evelyn Egan, and many nieces and nephews. Colleen was born on October 4, 1957, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her career was dedicated to serving her community as a registered nurse. One of the most rewarding times of her career was as a labor and delivery nurse, where she helped deliver and care for over 6,000 babies. She finished her nursing career with Minneapolis Public Schools. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, after returning to school to further her education. Colleen was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and will be missed dearly. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
