Obituary of Janet Jean Shannon

Janet passed away on 1/07/2022 after a short and courageous battle against cancer. She graduated from Duluth Central High School and lived in the Duluth area most of her life.  Back in the 1970’s she lost over 150 pounds with Weight Watchers, a company she later worked for many years. She liked to call herself a “Domestic Engineer” as she mainly worked as a mother and wife.  Her love of butterflies is well-known, she also enjoyed playing games on the computer and beating everyone at Cribbage. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Stresow (Brown) and her grandchildren: Eddy (Erin) Stresow, Zoey Stresow, and Paul Stresow as well as her loving brother Steve (Linda) Johnson.
