He was my favorite teacher by far. We played golf together and I remember hitting three golf balls into the pond. I saw him in 2018 at Park Shore and was thrilled.
One terrific memory was his inviting me and another Park grad, in about 1968, while the two of us were students at MIT, to talk to his classes about the Anti Vietnam War movement, that I and my friend were strongly a part of. Mr. Litsey and his colleague strongly supported our anti-war positions, and I hope that our presentations, including a slide show with music called "Be True to Your School", (meaning you can love your country by stopping this horrible war), helped to convince some of the students to fight against the war, and saved a few lives, by keeping them from being sent to a war that should never have happened.
