Obituary of Robert Wallace Hollenbeck
Robert Wallace Hollenbeck, son of Paul and Evelyn Hollenbeck and brother to Ralph, Kathryn, Patricia, and Paula was born 11-5-1939 in Morris MN. He grew up on a farm near Lowry and graduated from Glenwood high school in 1958. He served in the U.S navy from 1958 to 1962 as a radioman in Adak Alaska.
On 10-5-1959 he was united in marriage to Frances Keller, to his union 4 beautiful children were born. Holly (Todd) Nelson, Anisa (Will) Thomsen, Paul (Michelle) Hollenbeck, Nick (Lois) Hollenbeck.
4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 2 great granddaughters brought him so much joy and bragging rights.
He was a retired Teamster, driving semi's most of his adult life. He was an avid horseman. Had his private pilot license. He also had extensive knowledge in repairing anything that was broken. Loved to putter outside, and kept himself busy.
He passed on Christmas evening shortly after singing "Happy Birthday" to baby Jesus with his family in the arms of Holly and Fran.
He will always be in our hearts, Happy Trails... until we meet again.
