Jennifer Jean Apitz, age 31 of Ham Lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2021 in Ham Lake.

Jennifer Jean Miller was born June 24, 1990 in Buffalo, MN to Richard and Bonnie (Sorum) Miller. Jennifer graduated from STMA High School in 2008 and began studying to be a registered nurse at St. Cloud State University. In 2012 she completed her degree and began her career, working in home healthcare for a short time. She then began working at Hutchinson Health, and later moved on to Mercy Hospital, and more recently Unity campus. She was an amazing and prideful nurse and thoroughly enjoyed her profession.

Jennifer’s hobbies included traveling, camping, concerts, hockey, drinking wine, and enjoying the company of loved ones. On June 14, 2018 she went on the first date with her future husband Anthony Apitz. Nine months later, while she was exploring Europe, Anthony surprised her in Italy and asked for her hand in marriage. They were married on September 12, 2020. She gained two stepsons, Ashton and Alexander, who she absolutely adored. On May 5, 2021 Jennifer and Anthony were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Avery Jean. Never has a person more proudly and perfectly embraced the role of motherhood.

She is survived by her husband Anthony Apitz; stepsons Ashton and Alexander Apitz; daughter Avery Apitz; parents Richard Miller and Bonnie (Mike) Madison; sister Stephanie (David) Lueders; nephews Eli and Beau Lueders; and many close friends who will all miss her dearly.
