Obituary of Judith Mary Gordon

Judith Mary Gordon, our most loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend died on December 2, 2021 at her home in New Brighton, Minnesota at the age of 76, after a courageous 11 year battle with cancer. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Born on October 6, 1945 in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Alice Dobbs (Leary). She graduated from Brooklyn Center High School in 1963. She married Rodney Gordon on August 9th, 1979, they enjoyed 36 years of marriage until Rodney’s passing on April 23, 2016. Judy had a spiritual interest at a young age and a deep care for the suffering of others, this impelled her to search for God and his purpose for mankind through a deep study of the Bible. This led to her baptism as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 26, 1974. She faithfully served her heavenly Father until her passing. She loved sharing the truth from the Bible with others. She had many interests, including gardening, crafts, cooking for and entertaining friends old and new, playing 500, and adventures of all kinds. Preceded in death by husband Rodney Gordon. Mother and Father, Ralph and Alice Dobbs, Sister Phyllis and Brothers Bruce and Roger. Son-in-Law René Bijold. She is survived by her children, Dennis Painter(Terri), Michael Muzzy(Marie), Michelle Bijold, Emily Blouin(Jason), Jill Lehnen, Kelly Gordon, Cindy Gordon(Steve), Daniel Gordon(Marie) and Jennifer Gordon. Grandchildren Raquel Widjaya(Elvin), André Muzzy, Geneviève Bijold and Judsen Blouin and step grandchildren Josh Lehnen, Cristina Kota(Suveer), Karlie Stumpf(Scott), Daniel Gordon Jr., Kenny Gordon, Jason Blouin Jr.(Russia), Jacob Blouin(Mary) and Josiah Blouin. Siblings John Dobbs(Anita), Jan Stoner(Larry), Mary Erickson, Shirley Conley. Sister-in-law Kay Dobbs. And many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held at 2 pm on January 9th 2022. Please contact the family for Zoom meeting id and password.
