Obituary of Jeremy John Hennis

Jeremy “Jay” John Hennis (44) passed away on December 21^st, 2021, at 12:30 pm from liver failure due to pancreatic cancer. He died at Abbott Northwestern Hospital beside his spouse and lifetime partner Courtney Hennis. Jeremy was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on September 13^th, 2021 and spent three months devoted to battling his cancer prognosis.

Jeremy was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. Jeremy was an envelope die cutter with 16+ years at Johnson Anderson (Shakopee) and loved his job and enjoyed his co-workers. He adored his two daughters and loved spending time with his family. Jeremy would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He had a love and passion for golf and playing tournament rounds of cornhole bean bags.

Jeremy is survived by his lifetime spouse and partner, Courtney Hennis, his two daughters, Cathryn (13), and Natylie (10) Hennis. His parents, Diane and Brian Hennis (Mankato, Mn). His brother, Chad Hennis, Sister-in-Law, Stacy Hennis (Palm Desert, CA) and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded by his grandparents, Arnold and Jeanette Hennis, his aunt Mary Hennis and his grandfather, Reginald Olson. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30^th, 2021, from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina. Celebration of Life a later date.
