Obituary of Renee Alice (Tyman) Nordman

Renee Alice (Tyman) Nordman, 77, of Duluth, MN went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021 at Beehive Homes Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Renee was born April 8, 1944 in Duluth, Minnesota to Clement and Mary (Trettle) Tyman.

Renee graduated from Morgan Park High School. Renee married Raymond “Bud” Nordman on November 25, 1967. The two spent 52 wonderful years together before Bud’s passing in February 2020. Always a working mother, she retired as the office manager of Kolar Buick Toyota.

Renee’ was known for her sincere laughter and making things more fun for those around her. She found joy in crafting, especially for others. Renee enjoyed boating and had a knack for gathering some drift wood every time she went out. She loved to spend winters with her husband in Florida.

Renee’ was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud, her sister Jacqueline (Tyman) Eckard and her brother Robert Tyman.

Renee’ is survived by her children: Bernadette (Roy) Wahl, Brett (Julie) Nordman; grandchildren: Samantha (Nick) O’Bryan, Chris Nordman, Gabby (Adam) Wolter: great grandchildren: Lil’ B and R.J., brother-in-law Ted Eckard, sister-in-law Sharon Forse, Aunt Tillie Skorich, her lifelong friend: Pat Picconatto and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Beehive homes for their wonderful care. There will be a celebration of her life this summer. She will be remembered by all that she touched.
