Obituary of Sheldon Jensen

Sheldon Jensen, 85, of Apple Valley, MN passed away December 7th, 2021 at Fairview Ridges Hospital. He was born in Duluth on April 24th, 1936 to Jorgen and Genevieve Jensen.

Sheldon was a graduate of the University of Minnesota- Duluth. He married Sharon Endresen on December 10th, 1960. Sheldon worked as a bank manager at Minnesota Federal, Norwest, and Wells Fargo.

He enjoyed vacations in northern Minnesota as well as Door County in Wisconsin. Sheldon had a lifelong affection for hi-fidelity stereo equipment with an extensive collection. Reading Hi-fi journals, magazines, online articles and watching video reviews were an integral part of the hobby. He also was an avid student of History and read extensively on the subject.

Sheldon not only cherished his family but also his friends. Not uncommon for him to call friends to get together for coffee or lunch. If they could not get together in person or if they were located out of town, he kept in touch via phone. He had a wonderful gift for gab along with a propensity for telling jokes and long stories.

Sheldon is survived by his son, Scott (Katie), daughter Stacy (Tedd), and Daughter Sara (Sheldon), grandchildren: Jamie, Tyler, Amelia, Kaitlyn, and Julian.

A celebration of life is being planned for this Spring, 2022.
