Obituary of Michael Krmpotich

Michael ‘Mike’ Krmpotich passed away Sept. 30, 2021 at the age of 74.

Mike was born in Duluth, MN. A graduate of Duluth Cathedral High School, he moved to the Twin Cities soon after. His great sense of humor, quick witt, and kind nature made him a natural salesman. Mike started by selling bibles door to door as a boy. He eventually would work sales for Good Will Publishing, DataServ, Chrysler Leasing, and TCF Equipment Financing. He was a ski instructor at Hyland Hills for many years. He also ran a ski apparel company, Raa Threads, with his late wife, Janet.

In his spare time, Mike loved to travel, downhill ski, play the drums, play billiards, and tell jokes.

Mike is survived by daughters, Ann and Ava, son, Ross, grandsons Lennon and Ezekiel, partner Katharina, brothers Steve and Danny, sisters Lea, Joyce, and Joan. Proceeded in death by wife Janet, parents George and Joyce.

To know Mike was to love him. He was a great friend to many. His wonderful sense of humor and kindness will be missed by all who knew him.
