Obituary of Edward Allan Goetz

Edward Allan Goetz, age 73 died peacefully at Mercy Hospital surrounded by family on 11/20/2021 from lung cancer. Ed was born August 12, 1948 to Allan & Annette Goetz of St. Paul. He was preceded in death by his father Allan Goetz, Mother Annette Goetz, sister Sue Goetz-Reilly. Ed is survived by and will always be remembered by his sister Chrissy (John) Raymond, niece Sam Raymond and nephew Joe Raymond. Who took care of Ed for over 30 years. Sister Kathy (Bruce) Frits, nephews Pete (Elizabeth Erickson) Frits and Pat (Amy) Frits and niece Sara (Lucas Pepper) Frits. Special nieces Annette (Dave) Johnson, Nicole (Troy) Van Horsen, Cyndi (Sam) Serrano. Sister Margo Goetz, nephew Glen Geiger and niece Laura (Ray) Wolf. Sister Rita Goetz, nephew Jesse (Kathy) Koch. Eds children, Ann (Luke) Borg, Andrea Goetz and John Goetz. Grandchildren, Raschel (Matt) Thury, Karlita Darwin, Carlos Darwin, Danny Brown and David Brown and 2 great-grandchildren. He loved fishing, puzzles, model cars, Taco Tuesdays at Chrissy’s and his diet coke. Ed was cremated at Cremation Society of Minnesota, a Celebration Of Life will be held in the Spring of 2022.
