Obituary of William Bernard Quinn, Jr.
Quinn,
William Bernard, Jr.
February 9, 1959 – November 17, 2021
William “Billy” Quinn passed away peacefully on 11/17/2021 at the age of 62. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; children, Ryan (Christina) Quinn, Ariel (Adam) Larpenteur, Scott McAnally, Myah (Michael) Clark, and Myles Quinn; siblings, Michael (Linda) Quinn, Christine (Terry) Vincent, Daniel (Amy Quinn), Kerry (Randy) Johnson, Moir Quinn, Ann Quinn, David (Amy) Quinn, and Hugh (Jenelle) Quinn; grandchildren, Malcom, Christian, Lennox, Vivian, Brooks, Caiden, and Cameron. Bill also had many, many nieces, nephews, and their children. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Ardyce; father, William; and siblings, Mary, Sharon Rose, Elizabeth, and John. Bill was larger than life. He was an aircraft mechanic for Northwest Airlines and then Delta for 34 years. He also taught dancing at one point and returned to college in his later life to obtain a degree in Aeronautic Management and Finance. Bill was artistic. He created jewelry, was an avid carpenter, electrician, tiler, painter, and he loved his gardens. Mostly, Bill loved people. He believed Christianity was a verb not a noun. Bill believed in justice for the marginalized and was a loyal Democrat. He would do anything for anybody. He and his wife frequently would spontaneously invite people to stay when down on their luck. There was always endless food at their table. Most recently, Bill was building tiny houses for the homeless with his church. Bill loved the early hours. When you see a sunrise, you will always see Bill. A memorial service will take place on November 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (115 4th St N, Stillwater, MN 55082).
