Obituary of James Roger St. George

James Roger St. George, 72, died November 13, 2021 with his wife by his side at his home in Aitkin, MN.  Jim was born May 6, 1949 in Duluth, MN to Raymond & Cecelia St. George.  He graduated from East High School in 1968.  He married Vickie Berg of Duluth in 1971; they were married for just over 50 years. Jim purchased Midwest Vac & Sew Center in 1982 and retired in 2014.  He enjoyed working with his hands and built the home where he and Vickie raised their family.  He also built many decks and docks  at their family cabin and more recently at their winter home in Florida. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Vickie; siblings Carol Vickery and Bernard (Annette) St. George; children Jody (Joseph) Tucker of Duluth, Lisa St. George of Minneapolis and Brian (Teresa) St. George of Mt Iron; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Cecelia, sister Cleo Mellerud and brother Robert St. George.

Service and visitation will be held November 22nd at the First Memorial Chapel, 4100 Grand  Ave., Duluth, MN.  Visitation 2:00, Service 3:00 followed by a reception.
