I didn't know Lyle well, but my job as a weighing supervisor for the Minneapolis Grain Exchange occasionally allowed me to visit with him when he worked at the grain elevator in St. Paul. Lyle's consistently pleasant and friendly demeanor was always refreshing. After the grain elevator closed I happened to encounter Lyle at a hotel in downtown Minneapolis and it brightened my day. It was nice to know that there was someone like Lyle out there. My sympathies to the family. - Joe LaPray

A little late in commenting- but thank you so much Joe- he was a special man! I'm his daughter- he had a stroke last May- and continued to fail through the summer...
