Obituary of Timothy Doran Larson

Larson, Timothy Doran, Age 59 of Ramsey, died peacefully at home on November 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Born September 4, 1962 to Patricia and Philip Larson, Tim grew up in Blaine, MN and loved hockey, the great outdoors and a little bit of mischief now and then. He graduated from Blaine High School and attended the U of MN and St. Cloud State University. In 2000, he married the love of his life Renee (Sande) on the shores of Lake Superior in Grand Marais.

Tim was the proud managing partner of Scandia Custom Cabinets. He loved his work, the people he worked with, and the people he served. Of all that he built, he loved building relationships most of all—especially on the golf course. Tim will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his entertaining stories and the fun and laughter he brought for everyone. He will be deeply missed.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother Patricia. He is survived by wife Renee, their children Robert (20) and Lauren (16); his children from prior relationship Jonathan and Nicolas; his father Philip; brothers Matthew (Catherine) and Michael (Lynn); five nieces and nephews; and his bonus family – Tim and Annette Carlson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at Servant of Christ Church, 740 East Hayden Lake Road, Champlin 55316. Visitation at 10:00 am, Service at 11:00 am, Lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or cancer charity of choice.
