C. William Dawson

Dawson, C. William (Bill) age 81, passed away on November 2, 2021 at the Minneapolis Veterans Home after a long battle with dementia. Bill is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Dawson; brother John Dawson; and mother Eleanor Dawson. Bill is survived by his brother, Dick Dawson of Seattle; son Tim (Missy) Dawson, grandsons Kyler and Christopher Dawson. Bill was a self-employed CPA for much of his professional life. More recently, he traveled the country in an RV for 20 years as a snowbird spending summers in Minnesota and going “anywhere warm” for the winter. He traveled with several different RV groups and made many great friendships along the way. Bill loved watching his grandkids play sports and camping with them when they were younger. Bill will be missed by his family and many friends. A celebration of life reception will be at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435 on Friday, November 19th from 10am to 12pm. A private interment at Fort Snelling will occur early in 2022.
