Obituary of Keith Vincent Krois
Keith Vincent Krois
Passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Rogers, MN at the age of 44 years
Keith was born on 1/24/1977 to Jerry Krois & Linda Zaher in Robbinsdale, MN
Keith is survived by his Mom, Linda Zahler & Tom Sax, Sister, Amy (Eric) Fuller and his three nieces that he adored, Sydney, Samantha, and Savannah. Also, Keith’s Grandma, Helen Zahler and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. And, last, but not least, his loyal companion, Smoke, his dog.
Keith was preceded in death by his Father, Jerry Krois, Grandfather Rinny Zahler, and Grandparents Bob & Rita Krois.
Keith was a loving and loyal son, brother & friend. He was spirited and did not mind telling you what he thought but he had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room.
Many knew Keith only through the addiction he battled for years. That was not the real Keith, and those fortunate enough to really know him recognized him as one who would give the clothes, he was wearing to help a friend in need, and did so more than once.
Sports were Keith’s passion! From NASCAR, his favorite driver was Tony Stewart (people thought they looked alike) until he retired and then it was Harvick, to MN WILD and the Vikings. Sunday’s during football season were hard on Keith. He had to flip-flop channels between NASCAR and Vikings!
Keith fought his battle for years. He asked God many times for help during his daily struggle. In the end, it was God who finally decided Keith had struggled enough and brought him home where he is at peace, not having to fight that daily demon. Savannah, one of his nieces want people to know that Keith is in a better, happier place and Smoke is doing well living with them and their two other dogs.
The day Keith died, a part of us died along with him. We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives.
Please keep Keith in your prayers. Also, prayers for anyone dealing with addiction and the family and friends of the addicted to give them strength and hope.
