Obituary of Martha Jane Nagle
Martha Jane (Myers) Nagle, of Eden Prairie, Minn. passed away of natural causes at the age of 77.
Martha grew up near Bloomington, Wisc. on the family farm and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1962. She recalled the highlights of her youth as spending summers with cousins visiting the farm, her trip to the New York World's Fair to play flute with her HS band, and attending chaperoned dances with Notre Dame students. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison and was later married in 1967.
She lived in Fargo, N Dak. for 18 years where her children grew up. She was often involved in volunteer work with many organizations such as youth hockey and soccer, and enjoyed her time with FM Junior League. Martha finished her bachelors degree at Moorhead State as she enjoyed continuing her education. She loved cooking, flower gardening, sewing, and refinishing furniture. Her favorite activity, however, was spending time with her grandchildren. She was kind and thoughtful, a good listener, and a great friend. She will be dearly missed.
Martha is survived by her three children, Catherine (Brien) Morgen, Sarah (Chris) Baker, and Ryan (Melissa) Nagle; seven beloved grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; and her brothers Myron (Janet) Myers and Michael (Colleen) Myers.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Larry Nagle, and her parents Dr. Myron A. and Gertrude Myers.
A celebration of life is to be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
