Obituary of Donald Joseph Huff

Donald Joseph Huff was born on March 27th, 1931 in Minnesota by Gertrude Duffney and Leonard Huff. Don passed away on September 28th, 2021 at the Maple Grove Hospital. He had many accomplishments in his lifetime such as winning awards for his extremely realistic wood carvings, developing artistic painting skills, working in a leadership role for Honeywell, and many others. The accomplishment that he was most proud of was his family. He was extremely proud of his two daughters Jessie Larson and Ondrea Hildre, his five grandchildren Josh, Ben, Sage, Merissa, and Clay and his five great grandchildren Dakota, Lynndin, Haiden, Harrison, and Hannah. He wouldn’t miss a sports game or school event for the world and always put them at the forefront of this schedule. 

Don went by many different names such as The Don, Don Juan, Fella, Grandpa, Best Man, Great Grandpa, Dad, and best friend. He will be forever missed and forever remembered. We love you Grandpa.

The celebration of life will be held on Thursday November 11th from 4-8 pm at the Rockwoods Event Center in Otsego, MN.
