Obituary of Edward Chase Suttle
Suttle, Edward passed away peacefully at home in Edina, Minnesota surrounded by his family on October 2nd at the age of 90. This Obituary was written by Ed Suttle. Preceded in death by my beloved mother Amy Suttle, my sister Fanchon, my son-in-law Patrick, and my first wife Theresa who passed away in 1972 at the age of 40. Survived by Mary Ann, my best friend and loving wife of 48 years, my five children, Mark Suttle, Jill Feist, Scott Suttle, wife Caroline, Amy Suttle, Nicole Krause, husband Tim, my ten grandchildren and my two great-grandchildren. Born in Minneapolis and spent my remaining years in Edina. I feel blessed that I could spend my entire life living in Minnesota. The beautiful lakes, forests, rivers and parks were a constant joy in my life. I felt very fortunate to live in America and was proud to have served in the US Army during the Korean War. I enjoyed sports as both a competitor and spectator. Fishing, tennis, and golf were my favorite activities especially those I enjoyed with my wife, children and friends. My greatest accomplishment in life was being the father of five healthy, wonderful, loving children. Mary Ann and our five children filled my life with unlimited fun, love, excitement, joy and pride. We remained a close-knit family throughout all of my wonderful years. We tried to be together for every holiday, birthday, wedding, and anniversary. Our greatest vacations, celebrations and memories were those spent together as a family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Patrick in Edina on Tuesday, October 12th at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the Church of St. Patrick or the Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation.
