Obituary of Janice Ann Hayward

Janice Ann Hayward (Kruse)

Passed peacefully Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 93. Janice Ann was born June 27, 1928, to Rheinhold Kruse and Bessie Weeks of Pine Island, MN. On September 12, 1944, Janie married Cameron Hayward. They remain married until Cam passed in 1998.

Cam & Janie operated a dairy farm in Pine Island until their retirement. Janie and Cam raised their four sons Dale (Virginia), Caryl (Carol), Terry (Jean), and Donald, as well as foster son Dion Lexvold, on the family farm. Janie married Lyle Yennie in 1999 who passed in 2020.

In addition to Janie’s parents and in laws, passing before her have been her brothers Richard, Orrin, and Robert, sister Betty Pipho and one great grandchild, Brice McArdle. Janie is survived by her four sons, their spouses, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Janie is also survived by siblings Charlotte Glarner, Shirley (Jack) Kunz, Pat (Larry) Swee, brother-in-law Norm (Margaret) Pipho, and Lyle’s four daughters, their spouses, and his eleven grandchildren, their spouses and fourteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 23rd. 10 AM viewing, 11 AM service at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Island with luncheon to follow. Masks are required. Memorials will be donated to Evergreen Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice Memorial Funds.
