Obituary of Theodies Scott

Theodies Scott was born on August 23, 1942 in Tupelo, MS to Betty Ruth Wilson and Fred Scott. Passed away at his home on October 8, 2021. Theodies married Flora Mae McKinney in October 1960 and together they had five children. Theodies later met and married Lois Dailey and together they had two children. Later after Lois’s death, Theodies raised her granddaughter Dominique. At the age of 63 he met Georgia Thomas and four years later they married and enjoyed their later years together.

Theodies is survived by his current wife Georgia; his first wife, Flora Mae and their five children Daryl (Deb), Michelle, Jerome, Michael, and Jeffrey; his two children with deceased wife Lois, Anthony (Mandy) and Angel. He is survived by his grandchildren Sherry, Shamira, Cleotis, Dean, Tony, William, Chris and Eriss. He is also survived by his stepchildren with Lois; Sarah (Norman) and Kori; stepson Bob (Julie) and step-grandchildren, Alexis, Dominique, Jeremiah, DeShawnte, Joyce, Danny and Emarie; along with 14 great-grandchildren.

Theodies is also survived by brothers Fred and Archie of Tupelo and sisters Ruth Ella of Memphis and Annie Catherine of Tupelo, twin sisters Vanessa & Veronica of Chicago; brother Olden of Mankato, sisters Shewan & Shaunta (Steve) of Chicago and stepmother Barb of Chicago. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Theodies is preceded in death by his mother Betty Ruth Wilson, father Fred Scott (Gordan), sisters Shirley Riley and Betty McKinney, brothers Charlie Earl Scott, Sam Eddi Scott, George Scott and his special cousin Tommy Rucker (that he grew up with as a brother), second wife Lois Scott and daughter-in-law's Bessie Scott and Ruth Scott.
