Obituary of Sancheze Quinton Bell Sr.
Ever so peaceful. . . Sancheze Quinton Bell, SR drew his last breath and made his final transition to the heavens on Monday, August 30, 2021. He had fought a good fight, but his mortal frame could take no more. So loved, by so many, he found it in his heart to say his last “see you laters”, for he knew that his time was near.
On December 30, 1971, in Minneapolis, MN. Sancheze was born in General Hospital to the parents of Estelene Bell and Edward Anderson. He was a loving, adventurous child who loved playing with friends and cousins. He grew up with a strong sense of family. He was the spirit of Christmas to his grandma Bernadette; the heart and joy to his Nana and Uncle Iss who affectionately nicknamed him “Channy”. He developed a love for gardening, cooking, and fishing which was instilled in him through his Uncle Sonny. He played football for the MLK Little Leagues and showed much promise for his drive, speed, and determination; voted MVP over numerous years. He attended North High School where he played varsity football in his freshman year. It was from playing football that he received the name “Hubba,” which followed him throughout his life.
On February 19, 1993, Sancheze married his childhood sweetheart, Maschunda Ware, and to them were born Azure and Azadi. These precious little girls brought joy to both parents but through a tragic misfortune, Maschunda was taken from him, leaving Sancheze devasted.
He later found love and married Gisela Vincent December 8, 1998, and born to them was his first son and his namesake, Sancheze Quinton Bell, Jr.
He then met Nadra Rundell who gave him his 2nd son named after his grandfather and great grandfather, General Robert Lee Bell. It was with Nadra that he spent his remaining years.
Sancheze’s story does not end there. He leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren; Ava Daniel, Ares Yant, Kiomi Yant, Keshaun Yant, Jeremiah Teien II, Kamea Yant, Avery Yant, and Zion Teien-Sullivan.
Through his 49 years of life Sancheze held many occupations; Song writer and rapper, elevator construction contractor, forklift driver and furniture installer. But it was in his later years that he had the opportunity to do what he really loved and that was working in a kitchen preparing and making delicious meals. He was a master chef. Behind the barbecue grill, or in any kitchen, people would come from miles around to taste his soulfully superb dishes.
Cherishing the memories of his beautiful life are his mother, Estelene Bell; his father, Edward Anderson; his sister, Tamara Martin; his children, Azure Teien, Azadi Andrews, Sancheze Bell, Jr., and General Bell; 8 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
We love you; We miss you; We will see you again.
