Obituary of Jennifer Marie Ostner

Jennifer Marie Ostner, 47   

Jennifer Marie Ostner was a brilliant, loving, beautiful, strong, devoted woman who touched and improved the lives of everyone around her. Born February 19th 1974 in Stillwater Minnesota, Jenny was a voracious reader seeking knowledge and amazing worlds that she ecstatically shared with friends and family. Jenny lived her life with passion and a fierce love that will be missed and always cherished by everyone who knew her. 

She was a wonderful mother to Jeremy Altier, and his wife Mary, who will miss her often, and deeply. She was the charming and witty companion to her dear partner Peter Kinahan, who never let an ocean interfere with their love for each other. A beloved daughter of Melody and Charles Johnson, and her late father Thomas Ostner. Sister to Justin Ostner, Cullen Johnson and wife Maureen, and Melissa Sable and husband Mike. She was the fun-loving, quick-witted aunt to Cal, Caden, Gracie, and Alex. She was also a loving, creative, parent to Kieran, Ben, Hailey, and Michael. Many more called her family, friend, sister, daughter, niece, cousin, grandma; no matter what name she had she will be missed by all and remembered for all she brought to our lives. 

Jenny passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at her home in St. Paul on Sunday September 26, 2021, at the age of 47. Even though there are so many stories and feelings we could share about Jenny, we find that there are no words to describe how much her absence is already felt and will continue in the months and years to come. 

A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 9th, 2021 from 12pm to 3pm at The Exchange Food and Drink, 500 5th Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112
