Betty J. Splinter (Potter), 82, of St. Paul, MN, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 16, 2021.
Preceded in death by loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth; parents Ner and Myra Potter, brothers Frank,  Roy and Lee.
Survived by son Jerry (Lisa) of White Bear Lake, daughters Judith Burt (Larry) of St. Paul, and Linda Splinter of Bolingbrook, IL. Grandchildren Justin and Christopher Splinter,  Eric Curtis, Whitney, Chelsey and David Opare-Addo, great-grandson Carter Strickland, and many nieces and nephews.

For many years, our mom had her own business of cleaning homes. When she wasn't working, she  enjoyed taking walks, playing the piano both at home and church, playing the accordion, reading books, drinking coffee and eating ice cream.
She attended Maplewood Covenant Church for many years, and later, East Immanuel Lutheran Church.
A special thank you to Chaplain Lynette, Marian Center of St. Paul and to the staff at Regions Hospital, St. Paul for the care she received during her stay.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at East Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1173 Payne Avenue, St. Paul, 651-776-2358. Visitation will be from 4-5 pm; the service will follow at 5 pm. Donations may be made to East Immanuel. Masks are recommended but not required.
